Investor
Village message board for CCH (semi-private board)
This board was created to remove the disruption and annoyance
of "the
Bashers and Trolls". The public message board for CCH is
still available
and can be reached through a link on this board. New people
wishing to
join the semi-private discussion need to have a track record of good
posts that
contribute to the discussion on the public board. More membership
guidelines are
available in post #8.
If you want to join us, start out by posting on the public message board for CCH (link near the top of the semi-private board). If you have something useful and honest to contribute, you will get noticed and invited in (or you can request membership).
Campbell
Resource Stakeholders Association (CRSA)
The members of this private group have banded together and agreed to vote, when we feel a need, as a single voting block, via proxy, at Board Meetings or Special Meetings. We will “feel a need” if there is a significant corporate development that needs to be defeated. Our collective ownership of shares is in the tens of millions. As a tight group, we own more than 10% of the outstanding CCH shares.
We are open to forming alliances with other major corporate holders, for the purpose of voting at Board meetings or Special Meetings. If a pact like this is ever formed, we would proceed very cautiously, under formal legal agreements (we are no fools).
If you are a major holder of CCH shares, please get involved! Our interests may be aligned. Please make you presence known on the InvestorVillage message board.
For the last 18 months, the most high-traffic message board for discussing Campbell has been the StockHouse Message Board for CCH, found at the following location:
StockHouse message board for CCH (recently abandoned)
This StockHouse board has been among the “Top 5 in traffic” almost every day, for the last 6 months. Some posts on this message board have racked up over 400 pageViews (the record appears to be over 1,800 page Views, for the main Campbell Fundamental Analysis post (link on the home page of this website).
But, unfortunately, the serious participants in discussion have now abandoned this StockHouse message board. If you spend 5 minutes here, you can see what ZOO it has become.
All those people you see posting garbage on the StockHouse CCH message board - they are called “Bashers”. Many people believe they are paid money to do what they do. There has been a full-time team of Bashers who have been Bashing CCH for 18 months. They can drop dead now, we have cut off their balls.
The Bashers have an agenda – to disrupt the exchange of solid fact and information, and to discredit the natural leaders of discussion. The fact that the Bashers put so much work into Bashing only helps underline the point of this website: CCH is an outstanding investment opportunity, and the “smart-money” has been aggressively accumulating, while they try to shake off the little guy. More info on the Bashers coming later.
So in summary: If you are a serious Investor, please don’t post on the StockHouse CCH message board. Most of the “good guys” are over on the InvestorVillage board (link above).
For reference purposes, StockHouse is still very good to read back through a history from certain posters. There is an easy way to get an index of just the posts by certain people, just click on their name.
Here are the historical posts by three well respected posters, with lots of material to read:
BensonLurker (Benson): Hundreds of pages of analysis here – but new posts will go on InvestorVillage

Readers from the Netherlands are the 3rd highest source of traffic for this website!

There is also a message board for CCH in SiliconInvestor (SI). It was created in the fall of 2006, and I am the Moderator. Limited posting privileges are free.
CCH message board on Silicon Investor
This page has a real nice overview of Campbell (I need to copy it for this website). Below that, are the message posts.
This SiliconInvestor (SI) board is not very active, and that’s fine. I would like to see the serious CCH investors all gather in one place – let’s stick with the new board on InvestorVillage. That’s the board that I will read and reply on most frequently.
But it is worth noting how large the Investor community is on SiliconInvestor. They know about Campbell, trust me. When the “big breakout” in the CCH share price starts, those SiliconInvestor guys will be all over this stock.
It’s also humorous to observe how, when I started the SI board, some of the Bashers from StockHouse followed me over there, opened accounts, and started bashing. I banned them immediately – you can see several names that are banned from the board (near the top).
The lesson learned is that there are a group of people who really don’t like what we are doing (not while their Daddy Institution is busy buying). It’s that kind of anecdotal story (them actually following me around) that adds more strength to the CCH outlook.
Campbell has been discussed on ‘The Motley Fool” Metals and Mining (or Mining and Metals) board. I haven’t posted there in a few months, but it’s a good board. They also know the Campbell story.
Campbell has also been discussed on the Morningstar Discussion Boards. There is a big community of mainstream investors on the Morningstar website. I like that word “mainstream”. Like when Campbell traded on the NYSE at $14.00 in the old days – that was mainstream. See the long term chart link on the home page of this website.
I will post links to these two message boards later.
Check out how Campbell is on so many watch lists, for so many stock trading websites. This Google search works best with the US symbol.
